Because of all the injuries he has been pitching in situations where he did not have to last year.
Boucy knows how to run a bullpen when everyone is healthy throw in a few injuries and he looks amateurish.

There is no way Sabean goes a midseason without acquiring a veteran bullpen arm.

It helped us big time in 2010 getting Lopez and Ramirez. I'd look for the same in July, especially if we're still doing bullpen by committee.

P.S. Hensley's growing number of BB's really scares me and makes him less and less of a late inning relief choice.

they were talking on knbr that lincecum might get a bullpen stint (sanchez, zito)...might be worth a shot to get his confidence/mental side of the game back in shape..I still believe he's out of shape physically and is wearing down after a few innings trying to throw 90+..those changeups/sliders are big time arm beaters as well..

Gardner and Rags had him watch video of his WS game clincher and he was throwing 90 MPH but was pinpoint in his control.
