Great game tonite, but we came up on the short end, losing in shootouts.

Kings now 8-4-1
Tied for 1st in Pacific Division

Next up: 10/29 vs. Vancouver Canucks

I forgot to flip over after the WS ended. I hate losing in shootouts,...I like the old OT format better.

It's been a tight two periods. Hopefully we wrap it up in the 3rd period. We have to get a bigger lead on the division. It's really tight and it also doesn't hurt to crush the Canucks hopes early.

Lost again in shootouts. Ouch. Kings end the month with 18 points and still in 1st

Two tough losses to deal with but good thing they get to rest up until Monday. They need to work on shootouts and take advantage of their shots. They were the better team both games but they couldn't score.

I don't know if they were a better team like you said, but it's encouraging to see them compete and stick with these teams till the end. I'm digging the production from all of our young guns! And it looks like they're buying into Murray's system.

Overall, a great opening month

I was mistaken about the Sharks game. The Kings had 29 shots at goal and the Sharks had 30. I guess I said they were better probably because they had 3 chances to win it at shootouts. Overall like you said though, it has been a great month, and they got rid of their longest road stretch of the year already. Hopefully they keep it up in November.

Kings on top 5-3 tonight over Phoenix. Kopitar continues to excel, notching a goal and 2 assists.

LA: 9-4-2

I'm pumped up to the game Thursday vs. Penguins!

It was a great comeback. Well done, and congrats to Kopi for reclaiming his NHL's leading scorer throne. We're looking at something special with him.

Can't wait for the game against Pitt. They're without Malkin and Gonchar so I can see our guys winning.

Tied 1-1, with a delay due to a broken glass right now. The Kings came out with great intensity, and nice goal by Kopi.

ive never been much of a hockey fan but the kings are actually looking pretty good. that kopitar kid looks pretty solid. as a non-traditional hockey fan, i kind of like the shoot out...but not when the kings lose.

What a game. It felt so much like a playoff game. It looks like LA hockey now has their own Kobe in Kopitar. This city has a superstar in the making, I hope he becomes more noticed. He's tearing it up.

Great comeback win over Pitt. Even better... there were laminated photos of Crosby in the Staples urinals. I Love L.A. !
