Many Dbacks players in Winter League.

Hitter's almost good. But some plyers showing bad form.
Especially, Pitcher's really serious. Their stat is terrible.

So, Tony Abreu and Conor Jackson is showing good form.

they playing in Dominica Winter league, Stats are almost recording league top.

Tony's stats ->

Conor's stats ->

This two player is our key player in next season.
Second base and First base in empty, Maybe Tony is charge main Second base and
Conor is charge main First base.

I thinking they are showing good move in next season.
Now, they are pleased.

Just to make things easier, here is a link to all of the Dbacks winter players in one place...

It is great that Jackson is putting up good numbers. More important that he look healthy out there, but good numbers are always welcome.

Just about everyone is looking good. Gillespie and Ciriaco are doing great. Oeltjen and Watson doing good in Mexico.

Allen needs to pick it up though. However, I'm not sure he isn't just focusing on specific facets of his game. At least he has more walks than Ks.

The pitching looks bad, but there isn't much to go by yet.

From ESPN, November 2, 2009

"5. It's been apparent that Brandon Allen likely will struggle if the Arizona Diamondbacks make him their starting first baseman at the beginning of next season. He hasn't looked good against left-handed pitching and is not taking pitches on the outer half the other way."

Did the Dbacks get snookered by the White Sox again?

I find it hilarious that his average is .175 but his OBP is .340

This is why he's in the AZ fall league. These guys are major league ready pitchers. It will help him come April. Will he be the answer? No guarantees. But he WILL get the shot this year. I figure him to get a half season to show that he can hit all righties and some lefties.

He seems to have a good eye for the zone, but simply gets beaten - not unlike Reynolds - on certain pitches that he can't handle yet.

Remember, he has seen MLB pitching for TWO months.

Besides, it is impossible to get bamboozled on a trade where you UNLOAD a relief pitcher as brutal and non-competitive as Tony Pena. He's been awful for 2 1/2 years. Trust me. Sox fans ALREADY hate the guy!

Completely agree with this. Allen may or may not hit enough in the majors, but there is a chance. There IS some upside there. He's never going to be a "Ryan Howard", but he might be good enough.

Pena was overrated by most fans, but his is a classic example of a million dollar arm and ten cent head. He is just about to get expensive too.

Whether Allen works out or not, this was a very good trade by Josh Byrnes.

Either way, Allen is a cheap, warm body for 1st base until we can pay for sometihng there.
