You said that they admitted to "suppressing black on white crime."

And as evidence, you showed me an NYT article where they admit not mentioning the race of the suspect if they think it's not relevant. That is not exactly "suppressing" the story--the news story was still reported.

And the victim in the case you cites was not white.
