Look at this gem that I found on the Royals MB. Haha, I laughed pretty hard when I read this.

"Cody, when you're standing naked, in your closet, clutching an autographed glossy 8X10 of Alex, do us a favor, and kick the chair out from under yourself...."

Harsh. But it looks like he annoys them as much as he does us.

He does. They don't like him. They also think that he wants to marry Alex Gordon.

That is too funny. I can't see how anyone could like the guy ( ? ).
He posts a lot of crazy stuff.

I'll definatly have to stay away from that board.

If I remember correctly, Cody's the clown who kept posting on this board last year that Alex Gordon was on the verge of being the next George Brett. Gordon had injury problems this year and batted .232 with only 164 ABs, giving him the career stats of a .250 AVG and .746 OPS in the majors. He turns 26 in February. By the time George Brett was 26, he had 3 full .300+ seasons in the majors, 1 full season batting .294, and one almost full season when he batted .282. He also had 4 full seasons with a .800+ OPS, including one with a .905 OPS.

He actually said worse: he said that Gordon will be the best player SINCE Brett. You know, despite the fact that there have been several players better than Brett since Brett anyway, like Manny, Pujols, Frank Thomas, Ken Griffey Jr....

"Cody, please. Teahen is a no-talent loser? And you hope takes a fastball to the head? Good grief, man! Aren't you embarrassed? You should be.

Those are two of the most idiotic statements I've EVER seen anyone make on this board, and that's saying something. Having an unhealthy crush on Alex Gordon doesn't make you a fan. It makes you a better than even money bet for drawing a restraining order. Your staggering lack of knowledge of the game isn't mitigated by your ridiculous assertions about Teahen's negative influence on Gordon (are you SERIOUS?) or the state of the White Sox visa vie the Royals. And your hope that Teahen takes a fastball to the head is nothing short of disgraceful. Disgraceful.

You are a childish imbecile. Unfortunately for the rest of us, that's not news."

I like that post, aside from the terrible mangling of vis-a-vis.

Yeah, I noticed that... but still, I like the point that he is making.

My favorite was when he insisted that Denkinger made a good call.

Does anybody know if he's just a nut or is it a kid trying to get attention?

My guess is that he is a little of both.

The photo clearly shows that Orta was out. Even Denkinger admits he blew the call. As a matter of fact, at some events when he signs the photo, he signs "OOPS!" under his name.

Would Cody be more of nut if the Royals hadn't won the 1985 World Series? :)
