Wow! Some sicko in NY started a fire in his house, then shot and killed two firefighters and wounded a couple more when they responded. Oh, by the way, he was a convicted murderer. I'm sure he got the guns legally. Yah, riiight.

I would say shame on justice officials for ever letting this guy walk on the streets again. Even if you don't like the death penalty, people that do stuff like that should not be free.

Bans always work. Leave the regulation to the black markets. I mean drugs are banned and you can't find those anywhere and they cause no problems in society anymore. Same with murder. If they would just make it illegal to kill someone......

Well anything is better than what we have now. Look at what baseball did when they started with steriod testing. Back when there wasnt testing on steriods the HR record was broken twice in 3 yrs. Put a ban and testing on roids and record hasnt been touched since. I know its apples to oranges but Assault Rifles do no belong in civilian hands. They shouldnt even be an option. A handgun will protect you just fine.
