I read the whole thing. It is using the fact that wars are not as common. That is different than society being violent.
Violent crime is down. It clearly shows that. We even hit our children less.
I'm not going to repeat the whole article because you just looked at the pictures and called it a day.
It just seems way off the point I was trying to make, though.
The point is politicians seem to like to boil down incredibly complex problems to one variable, such as raising/lowering taxes or banning guns.
