My favorite finding is the fact that we have become so advanced that we can kill in war without being killed. That is truly evidence that we are less violent. I am being sarcastic.

I read the whole thing. It is using the fact that wars are not as common. That is different than society being violent.

violent crime has been constantly trending downwards since the early 90s. coverage of anything, especially mass killings, has increased astronomically in that same time. and the world record for the most destructive mass civilian mass shooting took place in a country with much more restrictive gun laws than in America.
