HOW could the press get that wrong? You are either dead, or alive.

thats why they post poned the news conference for 3-4 hours. They wanted to try and keep this fuçka alive so they could announce it..This actually make me happy because now he can be tried and put to death under the UCMJ.

These are the moments I wish firing squads were an option in America.

The firing squad is an option. I believe Gary Gilmore was executed by firing squad in Utah. The shooter in this case would be tried by the military, which also can use the firing squad, I do believe.

I am not going to read 80 pages or so on legal procedure. If you were directing that to everyone, okay, my misunderstanding. If it was to me, tell me what part is relevant.

Then by golly, do it by firing squad. Give the man a cigarette, like they did back in the day.

The sooner they put this guy to death, the better. But no, they'll want to interview him, analyze him, take polls on the peoples' feelings about him and whatever heritage he belongs to, make a media circus out of him and the trial, do side-by-side comparisons of how his murders compare to other mass murderers, debate the death penalty and whether it's relevant in his case, get every politicians opinion and spend millions of tax payers' money doing all of this. And the end result? All of his victims will still be dead and never see their families again while this sc.um gets to live and breath for the next 15 years while all his appeals are taking place. Welcome to the criminal justice system of America.

None of that happened with McVeigh. Why would it happen with Hasan?

Why wouldn't a firing squad be an option. He is a military officer who killed 12 soldiers. He should be tried in a military court and convicted, then promptly executed, either by hanging or firing squad.

-- ok I just read the other posts, yeah, lets just execute this piece of **** as soon as we can

no it wasn't directed just at you. As I mentioned in the post. Is is there if you decide to read it..if you have any questions, instead of just wondering or speculating on procedure. In other words it is there for reference.
