I like
Jim LeylandJoe MaddonJoe TorreCito Gaston (I liked him because he often concentrated on encouraging players and let his batters hit any way they wanted to. Cito realized that each batter had a different approach at the plate. And Jays bats exploded every evening and ended up leading MLB in home runs. John Ferrell told Blue Jays bats "what to do" too much and ended up hitting not as powerful as they were under Cito)
I liked Cox a lot too
(let me guess a few of me will pick on me for saying this)
Spanky Anderson?
you had to ask?
GTFO
Joe Maddon is my current favourite hands-down, he's the only guy managing right now I'd consider giving up an asset to make a Blue Jay.
<Also, great post Dogg, props for cutting down on the bullshit lately.
<Sparky was so likeable but he was pretty insane and I do mean off his rocker at the end. He was great during the day. I met him twice during my teens. I actually met Earl too and Dick Williams too.
Gene Mauch will always be the manager who impressed me most. He stole games beyond what any manager value should be.
