Interesting that Sanchez and Syndergaard himself (!) give Best Fastball honours to Syndergaard, while Nicolino gives the edge to Sanchez, as does Horsman ("Sanchez has more life on it, where Noah's is true").

Best Breaking Ball: Sanhchez (unanimous)

Best Changeup: Nicolino (unanimous)

I'd rather he stick to FB-CV-CH. The amount of curveballs he throws already worries me when considering his velocity (whether it be TJ or decreased velocity down the road). Throwing another high stress pitch (slider) in favor of a low stress pitch (changeup) would be a recipe for disaster.

If these three can fast track like Hutch? Wow.

It's possible that Nicolino might. But given that Sanchez/Syndergaard are high ceiling pitchers they might take longer to develop.

Agreed, something like a splitter or changeup would be good to their repertoire, with their good fastball velocity it could fool hitters.

Seems as though AA doesn't envision the next Jays dynasty starting until the Big Three emerge.

Nice! I didn't realize Syndergaard was that much taller than Sanchez.

Another Fappucino:

"Aaron has overpowering stuff," Lansing pitching coach Vince Horsman said. "His fastball sits anywhere from 93 to 98 [mph]. He's got a power breaking ball and a power changeup. He gets the ball around the plate. His stuff plays above the level he's at. He obviously has stuff to work on, and that's why he's at the level he's at. But his stuff is probably the best in the league."

Syndergaard is listed as 6'5" with Sanchez at 6'4" and Nicolino at 6'3"... If Sanchez is still 6'4" then that pic makes Syndergaard look 6'8"!!

I remember reading somewhere that Syndergaard himself said he is 6'7".

Just to think about it, future rotation consists of Syndergaard, Stroman, and Smoral. Not only getting the lefty righty split, you also get tall/short split.

By the time Syndergaard and Smoral are up Stroman might be a veteran by then lol.
