Rockies will buy out Yorvit,s option . I like him as an option to Barajas, however when you look at the FA catchers available he,ll probably get the most attention.

miguel olivo would also be a better option than barajas IMO, less OBP more power compared to Torrealba

Frankly, I would take Type B compensation, and play Jerlolmon next year instead... I'm really not high on Barajas, never have been....

I don't agree with you (assuming you still feel this way) that Barajas is a bad defender, but I don't see the point in paying him big money (and potentially loosing a 2nd rounder) for that pop.

Torrealba is a type B FA too . Meh , I don,t mind Barajas and yes I,ve looked at the #,s Thing is he drives in runs , something others didn,t do on this team

Still , I,ve always liked Yorvit and I know Jeroloman isn,t ready.

Torrealba really isn't a great Catcher, I say pass.
