Someone said that Oakland has more important issues. I disagree. I believe an new stadium near the waterfront could act as a catalyst to bring more people and business to the entire waterfront which would greatly help Oakland. There has been a lot of investment already on the waterfront. The stadium would be a perfect finishing piece to make this a thriving area of the City which would help revenue and the City's image.

The final plan to keep the A's in Oakland will be implemented by the City of Oakland via official communications with Major League Baseball. Let's Go Oakland's plan is to demonstrate to the City and MLB that there is substantial and wide spread support to keep the A's in Oakland by building a new destination ball park in Oakland. We must do this by getting thousands of fans to sign our petition. Based on our understanding of MLB's process, we believe this approach can lead to a new destination ball park in Oakland. Go A's!
