I can say it was probably the greatest first five months of any eligible rookie player. Beyond that, it's too early to tell.

You don't have to have become a legend to be considered the best at a particular point in time.

Last year, yes. We'll see how he does this season. I think he won't repeat his 2012 numbers, but still very good - .305/25/80/.385 OBP/50 SB/120 runs.

I like that you don't automatically assume he'll keep up the same numbers next season as he did in 2012. It shows common sense and a tendency NOT to take anything for granted, nor are you insisting as some do here that he will always be the same Mike Trout year after year.
