Neat! I'm going to wait on that and watch it with dinner a bit later.

Thanks for that link.

Doesn't seem possible that '85 was closer to the start of Angel Baseball than to today! Man, time flies!

Oh my, the memories that brings back. . . .

I miss those teams; the Grichs', the Downing's, the Boones, the Buck Rodgers, the Clyde Wrights, . . . .those were the teams of my informative years, the teams I grew up getting to know and love.

Even though the TV special is 27 years old, it brought back a lot of memories. Alex Johnson was ALMOST likeable! (LOL).

The Cowboy should have picked Grich for his 2Bman though (nothing wrong with Knoop, but he was good glove, blah hitter), and used Groove as the DH. Baylor was not a very good OF, and had a subpar arm. There were many other outfielders that were deserving, but.....it was his ballclub (LOL!).

I got a real kick of seeing Rudy Meoli make that over the shoulder catch to help preserve Ryan's no-hitter!

It was 27 years ago, we know a lot more about baseball now.

"...we know a lot more about baseball now. "

Speak for yourself. Some of us could recognize what was important without needing stats to point it out.
