Having just watched him hit 2 HR's including a grand slam in one inning,it got me thinking. If he ever got going and stultified the DH role. Hispower has been minimal all year. If he got that back and protectedPujols and more importantly, Trumbo.
Not only that but then the bottom of the lineup gets stronger..assuming Howie can play to the back of his baseball card.
Keep it up Kendrys!! LET'S SWEEP F'IN TEXAS!!
"Not sure either of those hits would be anything but fly ball outs, in 90% of AL ballparks....but nice to see him making some contact. "
That's BS, the first one was a double in any park. It was a line shot, not a fly ball.
I'm a big Kendrys fan. Lest we forget, he spent all last offseason (not to mention last season) rehabbing, not baseball-playing.
Give him this season and this offseason to get right. No sense getting rid of him now -- you don't sell low, especially if this guy can regain his pre-injury form. I still think he can.
With all due respect to Kendrys, those were Texas Home Runs. That jet stream makes that park comical.
---That's BS, the first one was a double in any park. It was a line shot, not a fly ball--The ball was hit hard, no question. So hard that if it gets over the outfielder head in Anaheim, it's a single for Kendrys.
But I'm not so sure it gets over the outfielders head in a night game in Anaheim. If you are, that's OK by me.
I don't know if he's gong to hit anymore than I know Wells will hit against LH pitchers.
There isn't a lot of history regarding an injury as bad as Kendrys. There is some history regarding regarding how well Wells has hit LH pitchers.
