Yet another opportunity to gain on the Rangers was blown gain today, mostly due to Haren's pitching. Mid season is here and the Angels-Rangers gap remains. With Santana on the bump tomorrow, I don't have great hope.

Going into the season the Angels were competing for WC.. nothing has really changed there. You should stop focusing on the Rangers. The Angels still have a good chance at that.

The Rangers are the main competition.
Last year on the 4th of July, the Angels and Rangers were tied.
This year on the 4th of July the Angels are 5 games behind the Rangers.

White Sox defeat Rangers in the 10th 5-4, off a Kevin Youkelis GW hit. I figured I'd bump this so Jack129 doesn't have to make another new thread.

I was watching that, and it was pretty sweet.

Youkilis has had two great games for the Sox already and their fans love him. And right now, so do I! :)

I wish he was an Angel playing 3rd base!

He made a couple of great plays at third too which robbed the Rangers of base hits and base runners.

In hindsight, he would have been a great pick up for the Angels but, I'm glad they didn't make the move to get him.
