You can't predict how well a player is going to do after 3 games. And if you could then Mathis is the best hitter on this team last year because that one playoff series he hit. Take your hate someplace else....

Is it your money? I do not think you are writing anybody's check twice a month. Let it play out some more. I am not saying he is great but heck I think 11 or 12 abs is hardly a sample size to be concerned about. If these 3 games are so important bet me some money on where Boston and new York end up in the east!

Okay then go ahead and pay the balance of $20,999,500. Oh but wait you paid 500 with a 45 man roster you paid just over $10dollars a player sounds like a darn good deal to me.

My pet peeves have shown their face this weekend.

Trumbo at 3rd.
Wells the starting LF.
Zero control of the the hitting zone.

They all killed us this weekend. I think we'll correct Trumbo very very soon, Wells in the next couple of months, and the strike zone when Hatcher is let go.. which is never.

Hatcher has changed the strike zone for Pujols, Hunter, Aybar, Bourjos,Callaspo ?

I think that's a reflection of the team losing its poise. They're going through some adjustment.

Look at the obvious signs. Trumbo confirming our fears at 3b after a pretty good spring. Wells looking bad in the clutch after working all winter on his hitting. Albert makes that great play at 1b but gets no protection in the lineup. This club is lacking confidence which I think it will get soon.

One thing that frustrated me in particular was the #4 and #5 hitters in the lineup. I'd like to see Kendrys bat after Albert because he's a home run threat and it might mean Albert gets better pitches.

So from spring training to now...a less than a week, hatcher has screwed everybody up? Who worked with them and had them going during spring?

Trumbo is not going anywhere and neither is wells and this team will be fine.

Since callaspo is your boy AG what happened with him? His hitting is horrible. I mean if you can judge the others on 2 or 3 games and predict their season callaspo has shown he is horrible, maybe we let him go too?

Everybody on this board is so egatie tonight...l

Yeah, but much of it is from Mr. Tic Toc, who always APPEARS to be a noob by virtue of his multiple personalities.

BTW, you think this is bad, go look on the Red Sox board. It's pitchforks and torches over there.

CB, what is your thoughts on maybe Trumbo batting 3rd and Albert batting 4th, Morales in the 5 spot batting lefty. Would Trumbo see more fastballs to hit, and Morales hitting left handed might protect Albert more?

You think I've only been talking about this for a week?

Oh yes he is, he's going away from third base.

Really, he's my boy? OK, thanks for playing.

Geez, CB, way too small a sample on Callaspo, so far.

But I do worry about whether he can hit as well as last year in this platoon situation...................
