You can create Trumbo threads like Justin creates threads. It doesn't make him a better player and the fact is he wasn't very good last year.

Unless of course you measure him by outdated or really bad stats.

Come on, ag - some people like the kid, and want to hear about him. No matter what you, or some of the others here, think of him, he still wears an Angels uniform and he is still part of the team. There's no reason why someone can't post about him - anymore than Callaspo or Aybar or any other member of this team.

If you don't like the guy, don't read the threads about him - simple solution.

AG's just jealous that nobody is talking about Callaspo, that Abreu is washed up, and Trumbo is going to get playing time over Callaspo because the Angels believe Trumbo's offense is more valuable then Callaspo's.

He just can't stand it.

That's fine, but in the last week how many threads has he created about Mark Trumbo?

My point is accurate.

Wow, last I heard, Trumbo is an Angels player, and this is the Angels message board. So, what's your problem? Just because it reminds you that you're wrong about who's the better offensive player between Trumbo and Callaspo? If Callaspo is so great, why aren't you starting posts about Callaspo?

Must really irk you that if Callaspo was as valuable to the Angels offense as you think, that Trumbo wouldn't even be tried at thirdbase. I think it just picks away at the realizaiton that you are wrong.

You're already having to eat crow on Abreu.

But why does it matter? A lot of the posters here post about the same players continually. I saw at least 4 threads about Morales, 3 about Abreu, and countless others.

Just because you don't want to read them, doesn't mean that no one else does. How fair is it to "censor" someone for posting about Mark Trumbo - just because you don't like him?

Next week, the whole board will change because there will be games to discuss and performances to evaluate (as best as any fans can).

Go to other boards and you'll see the same things happening there - some people post threads liking certain player, some post hating certain players. . . .

It's no different that when you guys post threads about stats and all that stuff. HOWEVER, I just don't bother reading those because they aren't of interest to me. If you don't want to read about Mark Trumbo - if you dislike him that much - don't read the threads.

I'm sorry, but you really didn't make any point.

What does it matter that one person creates eight threads about the same thing?

There is only so many threads that can go on a single page.

Oh, so are we supposed to create just one thread for each player, and only post on those threads whenever it involves those players, just so you don't have to see it?

AG, I'm not trying to be mean here. Fact is, it's a PUBLIC message board, and you have to take that into account whenever you go to it. That's why I have to put people on "ignore" instead of "reporting them". It's a PUBLIC BOARD.

Like Bekkie said, everyone is just bored waiting for the regular season to start. Soon, we'll have Spring Training games to talk about, and news about how things are progressing towards the beginning of the regular season.

By the way, sorry if I stepped over the line with all the comments about you being upset about the Angels supposedly favoring Trumbo over Callaspo. But, really, do you EVER think about someone else when YOU have the upper hand?

Just curious. How many games are you expecting Trumbo to start at 3rd this year? Everything I've read to date coming from the org indicates Callaspo is still going to get the vast majority of starts at 3rd.

Callaspo will be traded before Opening Day...also Maicer could be traded instead...either one.

They say 25 to 50. And, yes, I expect Callaspo to get the bulk of the playing time (unless the Angels trade him).

But, think, don't you think that as Trumbo plays more thirdbase, he might get more comfortable over there. Maybe get to the point he can play even more often. And, who knows, maybe even become the everyday thirdbaseman someday?

That's the expected to hopeful history of it.

It's kind of like Morales injury. If he's okay, he might start slow, but eventually, he will probably be the everyday DH until he becomes a Free-agent.

Trumbo has awesome power. It's always fun to watch the big guys in BP.

AG, have you ever been to Tempe for ST. If not it's a blast and you should go.

I was in hog heaven while attending ASU for four years. Watching BP was always fun especially when the big boys came up and filled the grass area with free baseballs for us in the cheap seats.

Have some fun with some of these posts. They don't all have to be so serious and btw it's spring (at least in baseball terms). Let's have some fun around here and lossen up.

Nope. Your dish of crow is about 60 days away.
