is not a moronic comparison... phelps show more consistency and better pitching in 5 innings. while hughes show insecurity/weakened mentality in more innings and surrender more runs too.

Geez - Phelps not stretched out? As a SP, aren't you responsible to be stretched out? Was his pitch count too high? Cuz if not, then not being stretched out seems like the athlete didn't prepare enough..... Just asking, cuz if 5 innings is all you expect out of a SP, then that's pretty low expectations......in my opinion.

Nope, he has not done any of those things. Because he has not been stretched out, because he hasn't had enough time in the major leagues and hasn't made enough starts.
