Well, for a while the Tigers seem to lose due to lack of offense.

Seems now they are getting enough offense and are now "back to" losing due to pitching again.

It's all about team D, and bad fielding fundamentals.

Little league, high school, travel teams, college ball, minor leagues & MLB.

You can NOT give away outs, and the Tigers do this at an alarming rate. When ya give teams like the Twins 4 or 5 outs extra in a game, they will beat you.

With the guys we have, it is going to continue for the rest of the year.

<pitchers>

Are usually a particular breed. It's their nature.

<last night>

When Villereal had two bad fielding plays in a row. (Jackson's horrible rout to a ball hit harder than he thought, and then Boesch's misplay off the glove in right) that gave a 2nd & 3rd situation. Setting up the intentional walk.....

Veal was so mad, because he should have had two out with nobody on base, he almost sailed the first two intentional balls to the backstop.

It's not the pitching, it's the bad play behind them. And it will continue to be.
