Jimmy Carter was pretty bad.

But at least Carter ran a state.

I would say Obama is the worst, Carter close behind.

Not even in the top 10 here: .usnews.com/news/slideshows/10-worst-presidents

Not in Civil Liberties top (bottom) 8:civilliberty.about.com/od/historyprofiles/tp/Worst-Presidents-Ever.htm

Not on Business Pundit's 5 worst list:.businesspundit.com/the-5-worst-us-presidents-in-history/

He has been ineffectual. He has been a weak President on an International scale, except when it comes to killing enemies of the State (in which case, he's far and away the most effective). The Dems are unhappy because he is forwarding moderate GOP policies. The GOP is unhappy because he has owned what they USED to stand for (they can't even agree on what they stand for anymore).

The fact is, we have no idea how he'd had been if left to his own devices. GOP obstructionist policies have done major damage to the country, and they're trying to lay the blame on Obama instead of sharing it. EVERYONE should be voted out of Congress right now.

There you go. Bush is worn out, let's blame Congress. After that, you gotta start looking.

Would you care to refresh our memories on the Obama created private sector jobs? Thanks in advance. (Will you count the solar energy ones before or after bankruptsy?)

The Carter Daze were fantastic, interest rates and gasoline shortages beside Iran won't be topped.

I'm betting that history will show this as the worst sitting Congress ever.

The GOP's official (yes, official) policy of voting against everything Obama backs has had a much larger part in destroying this country than anything a weak President has done.

Are you counting the Obama budget submittal that garnered zero dem votes? Have you considered Harry Reid's refusal to bring any Congressional jobs bills to the Senate floor?
Are you counting the credit rating downgrade as repub or dem flavored?

Three billion more in debt a DAY? Did I hear that right?

"Are you counting the Obama budget submittal that garnered zero dem votes?"

I, in no way, said he was good. I said he was a weak leader and ineffectual. His budget proved that.

The credit rating is so bad because the majority of both sides of the floor are owned lock, stock, and barrel by publicly traded corporations. They refuse to even consider the one thing that will start the country back on track towards financial health... re-instating the Glass-Steagal Act.

Good point. In that case you might avoid the repub 'just say no' as a platform of excuses.

I'm old enough to remember the Carter days. Inflation was ridiculous, gas shortages, thermostats turned down in winter and sweaters were to be worn. Even the media turned on Carter and created the'Misery Index'. Obama seems to be trying to top Carter as the worse president but right now I'd put him 2nd. But heaven help us if he's reelected, I have no doubt that he'll cruise to the top spot and if so we're all in a lot of trouble.
Although I couldn't argue against anyone that thought that Nixon was the worst.

I brought it up because it has been their official platform during this administration and it really isn't doing anyone any good.

no question, not even close. The current president makes a run to Colorado in an attempt to boost his ratings. He doesn't care about those people it's just a way to get good press. Financially he's the worst. He has overseen an economy of over 8% unemployment for years. he's a bad president and a pretty bad human being to boot.

I thought I had read it all, and then you say Obama is a 'bad human being'.

Delusional. That's the only way I can hope to describe people like you.

No he's a bad human being. The only reason he went to Colorado was for the photo op. he couldn't care any less about those people. It's all about boosting his sagging numbers.
