You have to look at the season as a marathon and not sets of sprints like this. I simply cannot call doom on this team on July 30th, especially ever since seasons like last year when the most unlikely team won the World Series. Anything can happen come October. All the Yanks have to worry about is getting there and they're still in the best position to do so.
If we win the next 2 games, this'll all be irrelevant as we stay in great shape.
And that is why I CAN'T STAND him. I miss The Boss :-( Cashman would've been canned by now and the Yankees wouldn't be sitting idly behind while Anaheim and other playoff contenders swallow up the biggest names on the trade market for their rotations.

Agreed, Scarlet, and not that this matters, but I feel somewhat bad for Freddy García. True, he's no Jered Weaver, but despite all those hits he gave up, at least he only gave up three runs in his start for the second time in as many weeks.
