... didn't see one. Here, I'll start:

per ken rosenthal:

“Kenny’s going to do something,” one exec says. “No way he’s going a week without doing something.”

What’s more, the Sox are eager to move Floyd, sources say.

-----
so a lot of fans might get their wish, and KW might TRY to trade Floyd.

This would make zero sense to me. with all the injuries we have to our pitching staff right now, why would kenny want to move floyd who is usually much better after the all star break?

Can't imagine what that trade would be, unless some team that was losing somebody was reloading. Maybe since Milwaukee knows they lose Greinke, they take Floyd to have for next year, and then want prospects. Mitchell, Sanchez, and Walker all promoted this week.

In other news, Joe Borchard visited the clubhouse last night (shudder).

in the same article rosenthall speculates he would be moved as a part of a 3 team deal to get Greinke. total speculation though.

Well, if I'm Toronto, I am dying to trade for another White Sox pitcher, especially one fresh off the DL.

"In other news, Joe Borchard visited the clubhouse last night (shudder)."

Checking to see if the White Sox will give him a try in Arizona next spring.

Floyd and prospects to the Brewers for Greinke makes sense. However, Floyd has pitched good in 4 of his last 5 starts. If Floyd is traded, you would think the Sox would get a better starter in return...someone like Greinke. Floyd is pitching better than Humber at the current time. Floyd's option for 2013 could be attractive to the Brewers.

Somewhere on the internet people are using this message board as a source for possible trades.

Came out from legit sources (rosenthal, I think) Floyd to BJs for prospects, flip the prospects for Greinke. Have a feeling the Brewers are in the driver's seat on this one so unless the BJs have the right prospects for the Sox to flip, this probably will not materialize.

It will be another situation where instead of doing a 3 way trade, Kenny trades for prospects then the other team backs out.

I still don't really understand why he did that with edwin jackson.

about josh johnson from mlbtraderumors.....

The Red Sox are among the teams said to be interested in Johnson and former teammate Cody Ross would be happy to see the pitcher in Boston, writes Ian Browne of MLB.com. “I mean, he definitely would help any team,” Ross said. “He’s a bulldog. He’s one of the premier pitchers, an ace. I’ve always said that he is one of the most competitive players I’ve ever played with. He’s a bulldog.”

man, can you imagine if we got Johnson? we'd have the two biggest bulldogs ever on one staff. i wonder if they would try to out-bulldog each other.

Hard to tell what in the world the Blue Jays are trying to accomplish. Maybe they think that they have some sort of a playoff chance but I think it is very minimal.

i think they're setting up for next year... they've already scoured their own system this year for arms because of injury. plus, floyd is under control for next season.

If that is the best offer that the Brewers can get, I'd be shocked!
