    • Question about Saturday's game

Hello, I am a Brewer fan looking to make the quick trip to the game in your stadium on Saturday night. I'm looking to get out of town because I live in Cedarburg just north of Milwaukee which has it's annual Strawberry Festival which many people from Chicago enjoy. As a resident though, I get annoyed how our town turns into a giant parking lot that weekend.

Anyways, I'm looking at ticket prices, and the cheapest tickets are about $20 a piece for sections 506-508. Having never been to the Cell, I'm wondering whether I would have a good experience in those seats or if I should spend a little extra on better seats. I'm attending the game with 3 other people.

I agree. At least get seats in the lower bowl. If you like the sun, go for third base/left field. If you prefer shade, first base/far right field.

I'll have to pay at least 50 bucks a ticket for that though. I'm hoping they can come down a little bit as we get closer to game time. We are going to be doing more traveling this summer so we don't want to spend too much. I'll probably settle for the 500s if we can't nab any at a lower price.

Also, we're also debating whether to drive or take the Amtrak from Milwaukee to Chicago and get a cab. Is there enough parking near the stadium to warrant driving? Everyone who has been to Wrigley Field has said to take the Amtrak, Metra, or El because there's nowhere to park in that neighborhood. I also assume that you guys will be better than Cubs fans. A few years ago when you were in Milwaukee, I heard that Sox fans were much better guests than drunk, obnoxious Cubs fans.

I really honestly don't mind the upper deck like some do.. But then again, I've only been in the upper deck behind home plate, not the right field corner.

There will likely be enough parking, but it will set you back $25

I'm pretty sure it's $23 during the week, $25 on weekends.

The biggest thing to remember about upper deck tickets is you are stuck in the upper deck. You
can't go down and walk around in the lower deck. If just for that, most times I opt for the little
extra money to get lower deck tickets.

UD between the bases is mostly very nice. Down the lines, different story as in a lot of other place. 508 - bad.

Good point. Legacy of the Ligue incident.

Saddest part, in this era of security, is it will never go back the way it used to be.

They have those clumsy guards sitting down the lines that I am sure will cost us a game at some point by getting in the way carrying their chairs away from a ball.

There is a ton of parking. It's nothing like Wrigley in that regard.

Thanks for your help everyone. I always look forward to visiting new ballparks. We've all talked and decided that lower level tickets are most likely out of the budget so we will try for upper deck tickets behind homeplate. We will for sure stay out of the corner seats. We're probably just going to drive too because parking should be cheaper than riding a train, especially if we all pitch in.

There all touched. Sox followed by the Brew. Went to many Brewer-Yankee games when they were in the AL.
