The Marlins, who spent big time money during the offseason, are under.500. I don't hear anyone on the Sox wanting Ozzie back & most of us fans, like many of the players, had Ozzie fatigue. Ozzie. over his last 5 years with the Sox was 2 games over .500. His team many of those years had the divisions highest payroll. In that time he had one playoff appearance. Ozzie, is the type of manger who burns brightly for awhile but then the players, fans, etc. get weary of his act. I promise you that there was alot more complaining about the missteps of Ozzie on this board last year than there have been about Robin this year. Ozzie is gone to Florida, where already he has embarrassed that organization (as he did the White Sox many times). If you want to take the bet, I'll bet you he won't last as long there as he did here. Jerry Reinsdorf is very loyal to his people, to a fault. The Sox payroll was cut last year & will be the next couple years, the Sox are trying to retool on the run. Good luck to Ozzie, not exactly tearing it up in Florida, but his time here was more than due.

Our team was just as good on paper last year and Ozzie could do nothing with them. Ventura is atleast bringing out something in these guys.
