Your guess is as good as mine. Seems to me Ross' bumpy outings were still better than Wangs "good" ones. I know Wang doesn't profile well out of the bullpen, but frankly he doesn't profile well as a starter anymore.

Call me impatient but, I think it is time for another one of those mysterious "injuries" that allow him to regain his form in AAA, or simply go away.

Wang has been terrible...He needs to follow Lidge outta town...

The Nats need to be "castrated"...LOL

A little tired of hearing about how his sinker induces so many double play balls. Guess what, a double play requires runners on base. He has a lot of opportunities.

Talking about exposing weaknesses...the exodus has begun; Lord may it continue.

This one is a head scratcher. Usually they will stick too long with a guy who is a piece of the future, so this particular move is inconsistent with that. Maybe they are trying to let Wang get his outings because of the Strasburg shutdown or in case someone gets hurt.

But it ain't working. Wang can't get it done.

And at the expense of keeping Detwiler ready for said Strasburg shutdown? If the Nats are still showing promise at the trade deadline, I am guessing there will be more than one or two (dozen) pitchers available that would perform better than Wang.

Wang seems to get worse every time he goes out, but I don't think he should be DFA'ed. I'd make up some reason to put him on a short DL that has nothing to do with his previous issues and won't impact his pitching long term, then pray he pitches well during a few rehab starts and try to trade him before the deadline.

Why can't FP tell it like it really is ...

It isn't "Ross has an opportunity to lift the team"....

It's "This is his chance to get his spot in the rotation back".

With the way Wang is pitching....he'll get DFA'd...And with the way the Orioles are dumpster diving, he'll be pitching in Norfolk...LOL

Sure makes me glad that he would not offer the club more than a one year contract.

You loss pal.

Enough Already, How long are we going to let Ming Chein Wang Hi (whatever it is) hurt the Nationals. He has done absolutely NOTHING and yet Johnson continues to give him chances. I am at the point where I would rather see Lannan (Maya or Duke) back up here starting instead of a body that has continue to prove that he has nothing to offer any longer.

As the Nats do not have a strong offensive team there is a need to depend on the pitching and Wang is not one that we can depend on........much like Lidge........and much like Henry Rodriegez. Can we package the three of them for one real pitcher?????????????

Too bad Davy Johnson dosen't read these boards !!!

I am casting a vote of No Confidence in Wang.
Detwiler had his hot and cold moments as a starter that kept me nervous every game. But I just don't have much hope when Wang comes in to pitch.

Nobody can come up with any Detwiler jokes.

Because the only thing left to do with Wang is DFA him. He can't pitch out of the Pen and he can't be sent to AAA. The only other option it so put him on the 15 Day DL. I don't know what the rules are for that move if the player is not actually hurt.

Also because Detwiler stumbled about the time that Wang seemed to be back and healthy. If things change, things will change.
