It's tough enough watching this team. Having to deal with TK mumbling away is just maddening

I think it is better than Blyleven...

Blyleven has his routine but at least he has some sort of delivery. TK is just blah

Maybe...I think even the broadcast crews need to be changed up...TV and radio.

At least I can understand why Blyleven is taking so much time off. By the way, did anyone else notice that Kelly is developing a W.C. Fields nose?

today the announcers said that Fred Lynn was the last rookie to win ROY and MVP...

said the same thing during the last Angels series...

when announcers can't get the basic info right, they're pretty worthless

I heard that when I was in the other room. If they said that in the other broadcast like you say why isn't that thing noticed or fact checked? Do people in the booth pay attention?

How can they forget all the controversy when Ichiro won? All that debate about him not being a "real rookie".....I'm shocked they've made that mistake twice on the air.

I guess Bremer and TK weren't curious enough to look it up. I suppose the stats people were either not paying attention or they just assume everything said on the air is correct.

Lets make Butch Wynegar manager, and put Gardenhire in the booth.

We would have to start a Ron Gardenhire drinking game if that were the case. 2 shots overy time he says a player "battles his tail off". Or "he threw the heck out of the ball tonight".

I know I am in the minority here, but I enjoy listening to TK. I know his droll delivery bothers some but the "raaraa" styles bother me more (Hawk). It has been said that his philosophy is outdated and that may be so, but he sees things that would normally go unnoticed. One example, I think it was yesterday when Masty was on first and he took off for second, Joe fouled off the pitch and TK pointed out that Masty never once looked at the swing or where the ball went, not many color analysts would have picked that up. He sees things that others don't and I like those observations.

All in all I don't mind TK for what he has to offer. He is a very LOW keyed person...that's probably why he had success as a ML manager. For that matter I don't have a problem with Dan Gladden...I like him more Blyleven, Bremer or Provus...Bremer and Bleleven are way too much of a homer and I don't like the way Provus calls the game....just haven't warmed up to him I guess.

I definitely haven't missed Blyleven's absence one bit.

I don't mind TK, just the way he delivers it, but that's just him.

Listening to Kelly is like listening to your grampa while fishing on the lake.
