I would put Tiger fans in the top five. I have heard St. Louis has the best I would
rank them as follows;

1.) St. Louis
2.) New York
3.) Boston
4.) Texas
5.) Detroit

Cardinals - yes.
Yankees - no.
Red Sox - really no.
Rangers - yeah.
Tigers - with the way they are packing Comerica in this economy, in this city, they probably should be first.

No, but my 2nd most-loved state of MI seems to always be one of the hardest hit. I think it says a lot about the fans to spend what little extra money they have to go to games.

I was in Cincinnatti a few weeks back. Reds fans are top notch. Very friendly...it was vs. Pittsburgh...no fights etc. Great park. Reds are my pick to go all the way.

I think the Cards, Tigers, Reds, Buccos and Mets have the best fans I've been around. Nats fans are nice too. I think KC has a nice group. Never met a bad Royals fan. Just not many.

The worst fans are Phillies fans and there ain't no second place. Red Sox fans are way overrated. They have a ton of kids who love 'em....but their 20 y/o something fans are insufferable. Yankees fans aren't as bad as most people think...they're just stupid. Don't know jack s*** about baseball.

You are right on with Phillies and Red Sox fans. Yankees fans are not that bad, just not some of the best. And they just have this sense of entitlement.

Didn't get that with Reds fans when I went.

They seemed very much to themselves and lukewarm. But that was 09.

Astros fans back in the day were pretty good as is/was Oriole fans. Actually when I went up to Washington, National fans were pretty classy too.

Worst fan base however is the Marlin fans.

I agree that Tiger fans are the best. San Francisco Giant fans are humorously annoying.

When I was in Cinci for the Tigers - Reds series, I had a very pleasant time. There were even some loud "Lets Go Tigers" chants and I didn't see any fights erupt or things being thrown because of it.

I like Cinci, I've adopted them as my NL team of choice.

I would agree with your list.
