The Royals are up in our business. Man, if they hadn't traded Melky, i think they'd be in great shape. Marginal starting pitching, yes. They have some amazing young players that can swing the lumber. They're young and hungry.

The Sox and Indians will be scratching and clawing, you can bet on that.
They'd love to beat us.

We are the hunted. And so far, we've played like sheep.

I gotta think Leyland sees the ho-hum attitude of some of our players, and this seems to bother him. That's gotta be a thing DD and Leyland talk aout. I'm sure Leyland would like to add a few A$holes and replace some of our guys who seem to play with 0 intensity.

I'm hopeful they can continue to win more than they lose, but those divisional games will decide it.

everyone knows that the division is up for grabs.

in the end, the tigers have the starting pitching and should prevail.

If he doesn't want ZERO intensity, the Old Coot ought to manage like something matters on occasion.

For we know from past history, that even when we get to game 161, he is still not the type of manager to go for the jugular. He's thinking about what he will need in game 163, if there is one.

His persona transfers, at to me we have exactly the mental make-up I expect with JL in charge. Just cause NOW, he want a bunch of hard-azzes. Ya can't go pick them up at the hard-az factory. Ya got to give them something to care about.

<sheep>

Yep, and we have a sheepherder in charge. Stands around with his staff. But what does he need, some good boarder collies to get the job done. Then ya got to train, and lead those dogs.

He thinks those dogs are born with the nature of their ability, and will carry them thru. Too bad that ya have to spend some time training those dogs. Time, that I think JL has never had any intention of putting in.

It's what makes him a 500 manager.

I just have a feeling by August we'll see Jason Giambi in Detroit.

Interesting....maybe.

Good call if it happens.

I think Giambi would be an improvement, sadly.

I don't think Leyland cares about job security. I don't think he wants to manage much longer.

Is it good for the Tiger? Doubtful.

Depends on how Leyland feels actually. What would he rather have more? An a-hole or a right handed bat?

Unless we trade/release Delmon. But I won't care at this point. Get somebody to shake things up
