21 games between now and the AllStar Game. 11 home and 10 away. All frontline teams or Central Division teams. Anything less than 9 victories will show me that 2012 was just an interesting try. 10 to 12 victories will be fine, and 13 or more victories will renew my beleive that this team is special.
I won't pay much attention to what Chicgo or Cleveland are doing (cept when we play the tribe).
ya mean 20 ???
It's a 10/10 split, home & away.13 games to 7, with teams over 500 as of today.
11-9 makes us 43 up, 43 down. I'll be satisfied with that.
Cards just lost 2 of 3 to the Royals, however, Tigers will have their hands full with Lynn and Lohse. Nobody knows what Porcello will do against Westbrook simply because he is unpredictable.
I think Verlander out duels Lynn in the opening game but the next two are krap shoots. I'm hoping for a Tiger sweep but don't expect Detroit to take 2 out of 3 from St. Louis. I hope I'm wrong.
Your optimism simply overwhelms me.
We will go 2-1 just like we did with the rest of those N/L wimps.
They have looked a little more confident in the last few games.
The bullpen, outside of V , seems pretty solid now.
With three starters who most always go less than six innings , that's important
The last 64 games have defined the Tigers!
Definition: A team with loads of potential ..and loads of problems.
The question is ..Will they live up to their pre-season hype in time to win the division?
I'm still hanging my hat on those last 16 games
10 of them @ home.
As long as we are within 3 games on Sept 17th, we should be able to win it. (or tie) If we are ahead at that time, it would be a massive choke to not be able to wrap it up.
They call him "Mr. Oldguy"
"Your optimism simply overwhelms me.

"Didn't take ya long to get on the sunshiny bandwagon. :) "
People seem to not notice A Jax is back. This is a completely different team with him in the line up.
"As long as we are within 3 games on Sept 17th"
We'll be 7 games up.
