Anything less than 9 victories will show me that 2012 was just an interesting try. 10 to 12 victories will be fine, and 13 or more victories will renew my beleive that this team is special.

I won't pay much attention to what Chicgo or Cleveland are doing (cept when we play the tribe).

It's a 10/10 split, home & away.

11-9 makes us 43 up, 43 down. I'll be satisfied with that.

Cards just lost 2 of 3 to the Royals, however, Tigers will have their hands full with Lynn and Lohse. Nobody knows what Porcello will do against Westbrook simply because he is unpredictable.

I think Verlander out duels Lynn in the opening game but the next two are krap shoots. I'm hoping for a Tiger sweep but don't expect Detroit to take 2 out of 3 from St. Louis. I hope I'm wrong.

If we can't score more than 3 runs, we could lose to Lynn. It's going to be a nail-biter. I'm betting that JV pitches his butt off, leaves the game in the 7th after throwing about 1,672 pitches, and wonders if he's going to lose 2-1. Two runs scored on a jack by someone like Descalso or Carpenter with 6 HRs between them for the season.

As long as we are within 3 games on Sept 17th, we should be able to win it. (or tie) If we are ahead at that time, it would be a massive choke to not be able to wrap it up.
