Not trying to hate on Colvin he's been great. Getting thrown off at first last night was clown base running. I was there and thinking to myself , what are you doing Ty hurry up. Then the ice cream man walked in front of me and didn't see the play. But we know what happened.

You kind of get the feeling they really don't care. Their head just isn't in the game. Creating bad habits with things they should've learned in Little League. And there doesn't seem to be any consequences for bad play.

Yes how do you lose focus like that. A big league player getting thrown out at first on a routine shallow fly ball because you took all day to get back. He actually stood just shy of second for a long time and then turned around and jogged back. I don't get that. You don't see that at high school level. Sad state of affairs. Maybe when you're out of contention you do lose that sense of urgency.

Can anyone name any of the previous 12 WS winning mgrs that wouldn't have shut down the mental errors after the first bone head mistake (sometime in Apr/May, waay before Scutaro's base running boner...maybe not tagging the runner on a strikeout/throw out in Milwaukee by, HEY, none other than...Scutaro)? Then, if somehow there was another mental error like what we've seen on the bases, not destroying the clubhouse? I can't name one.
