What the heck is with the bumping of old threads?

You're clogging the board, responding to things that are months old.

A little consideration - Please...

I end up just putting a lot of those threads on ignore.

I'd spend two days filtering just to get to relevant topics.

Jeezuz, the guy is prolific with this stuff...

What, you don't like the board being over run with replies to 2 or 3 year posts that go something like this: "I like hot dogs" ... or this .... "It's cold in Boston now."

I don't mind it once in a while. But in recent days, it's over done to the point of having to filter to find threads you're following.

i post on a lot of other boards and he's on every single one. i think 100,000 posts is selling him short. it's prolly more like 250,000 posts, combined.

Yeah, he has nearly 80,000 on this one alone.

He should pick his spots. A few bumps here and there are tolerable. The bump-frenzy thing is aggravating.

He seems to only bump it when its dead here (see like 12 AM CA time) so it would not interfere during the posting business hours...

It is, but anytime you start using the word "should" you're just setting yourself up for aggravation and frustration.

Bump the threads, and move on.

EDIT: I meant, ignore the threads. 'cal is doing enough bumping.

Cat, I've read some of Fromcal's post, and wondered .......... What in God's name is he doing or trying to say .

But, my conclusion is always the same .......... while "nobody" is perfect, (although, I am "extremely" close) as long as they do me no harm .......... live and let live .
