The Giants basically stood pat with the team they had last year. I think they must have figured, "It was good enough to win the World Series..."

They signed Marco Scutaro to a three-year $20M contract. I think they also extended Hunter Pence for a few more seasons.

Brian Wilson is still a Free Agent and no one has picked him up yet.

I think NY like Boston is realizing the mess they have made of their team by surrounding overpaid underperformers with garbage. Unfortunately for NY there is no golden parachute in the LA dodgers to save them. Both teams are gearing up from big drafts
