let's hope we can pick up some platoon guys at the all-star break, maybe some pitching help, I like the fact players are coming back from injury, Valentine will have more options ,.611 is a big big number, .500 would be great.

They will have to do much better against such teams as the Yankees, Baltimre, Tampa and Texas.

To split hairs, the most consecutive wins is with the NY Giants who had 26 consecutive wins. HOWEVER, that inckluded a TIE in one game, As MLB does not include ties, the record defaults to Cubs.

I totally agree. Im not completely concerned about the offense doing their job as much as I am about the starting pitching. Lester and Beckett both have to step it up several notches. BP looks good especially with bard back there (I never wanted him to start) And Bailey may return soon. Keep Middlebrooks at third, try to trade Youk for some good pitcing prospets, add Crawford and ellsbury and they could put together an impressive in streak.
