I was for it. I go back to the Detroit sunday night game and I was furious that he pulled him. Though, Baily was looking stronger in that game than he was in this one, I still like leaving it up to the starter to get out of his own mess if he doesn't look like he's getting tired.
But let's look a little further, Bailey's hit had a lot to do with this win IMO. It made Votto the 2nd hitter rather than the 3rd hitter in bottom of the 8th. Cozart starts the inning with the same popout he ended the previous inning, we leave the bases loaded there.
Bailey was the real "player of the game".
