Did you guys see this catch? Amazing to watch. The real deal and right under the Phil's nose.

That was an amazing catch but the Phillies never had a shot at Mike Trout as the Angels selected him before the Phillies in the first round.

That dude is the closest thing I've seen to Joe Hardy, yet.

He kinda looks like the original Broadway cast actor.

That's not even his best catch this season.

The catch against the Orioles was crazy. That's the web gem of the year IMO and it's not even close.

Yeah, but it killed me when he said growing up he wanted to play for the Phillies. Oh well, maybe when he's a FA, he can be our first 10yr / 300M contract...which will probably exist by the time he becomes a FA.

He's 20 and will turn 21 tomorrow. If he stays in LA he'll be a free agent at around age 27. That dude's gonna get paid.

So happy for him. I remember reading about him in the local papers when he played HS ball in the area. He still has a long way to go but I see good things for this kid.

It's refreshing to see a Trout catch a fly instead of a fly catching a trout.

I'm not far from Millville and have been hearing about this kid for years, hoping he'd wind up in Philly. The papers have daily reports on him, even playing on the wrong coast. The guy is a phenomenon.

Do you know where I love? Not only am I near Millville, I once lived in Millville and work with a few Trouts. I'm aware.

It was a really nice catch but I do not think it was the catch of the year despite everyone on the mlb network having an orgäsm every time they show it. Trout should get the mvp and rookie of the year but the catch was far from the best ever.

And today, he can drink legally. Fantasy lineup note for tomorrow's games -- bench Trout. He won't be worth much.

Tomorrow's stat line prediction (IF he's in the lineup...) -- 0 for 4, 4 K's, 5 LOB...

BTW, are we done talking on Trumbo??? You never got back to me about pitching.
