I've been looking for video of Jim Palmer's "smooth as silk" delivery, without much luck.
Searches for Jim Palmer at youtube have yielded not much more than his unceremonious release announcement, his advertising gigs, and some broadcast booth clips.
Help?
Saw the "mechanics" clip. Frankly, that one seems limited in both scope and resolution. I was hoping that by coming here to "Weaverville" I might persuade some of the old guard here to upload their archive material.
C'mon guys, that's one of the sweetest windups ever on a diamond, it deserves preservation for future generations....
Rest assured, it has been preserved.
I have very nice VCR tapes of the 1966, 1970, and 1983 World Series. Palmer and his windup appear in all of them.
Now, if the future generations can manage to preserve VCR technology, they'll be all set. :)

Get with the times man and copy those tapes to dvd, that way you can upload them online for the future generations to see lol.
" Be careful to not check out his underwear ads. Google will retain your visit and someday you could get nailed for watching panty pourn Just saying."
I almost spit my energy drink all over my computer after reading this. LOL!
