Is the game in D.C.? If so, the O's are dead meat.
The reason I say this, is the Nats have lost their last 3 series. I might be wrong ( just making an assumption, please correct me if I am) and they'll take it out in their ball-park with our dismal hitting against the O's. I don't see the O's winning this series. Reynolds really needs to step his game up, he's unperformed thus far, and his strikeouts are unacceptable.
" pretending to be the village idiot."
Lol, do you really think he's pretending?!
"Lol, do you really think he's pretending?!"
We took 2 out of 3 in their park last month, I see no reason we can't take 2 of the upcoming games at home or maybe all three! Our bats have to wake up at some point, why not now. I predict a sweep!! based purely on optimism and faith and absolutely no research!
Also, FYI, CALABRAMS, Weiters threw out Harper at least once in the series last month. A perfect throw will get almost anyone, and Weiters makes a lot of perfect throws.
"Keep in mind that in CALABRAMS' view Harper is so good that his mere presence in the ballpark might throw the opposition off. "
LOL! Good point! I don't know why I try to reason with that guy...? I had him on ignore for a while but he's kind of like a train wreck or a multi-car accident, you know it's going to be ugly and possibly even horrifying, but you have to look...
On the plus side, the pitching matchups for this next series are much more favorable than vs. the top of the Mets rotation. No Strasberg, and Zimmerman looks hittable, even by us.
