Steven Jackson wants to start for a contending team with a great fanbase..hmm.....could this be any more obvious?

He's got a lot of milage too, so going to the best passing team–he would no longer be the go to weapon also–in the NFL makes too much sense.

Not sure what the interest level is on the Packers end but there has to be some. Other teams I could see getting in on this: Denver, Giants, Falcons.

Meh, he would likely win the starting job at Pittsburgh or Atlanta if they signed him.

I think Atlanta wants to roll with Jacquizz as the feature back anyway.

Atlanta is going to take Montee Ball in the 2nd round and be set for the next 5 years.

Interesting...I haven't seen people talking about Atlanta looking for a starting RB.

Really? Almost everything I've read/seen regarding the Falcons mentions that RB is one of their biggest needs.

With their offensive weapons, I think they will roll with Rodgers as their primary back and get someone else as a change of pace. With White/Jones and Matt Ryan, I wouldn't be surprised if they opened it up more next year.

Plus, I think they are going to look for defense in the first few rounds since that was definitely their undoing last year. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that 2nd round pick went to the Jets in a Revis trade.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts took Ball, though...or Jacksonville. Both franchises need help at RB.

There's talk that Greg Williams REALLY wants James Harrison in Tennessee (you know, because he's a <prick who wants thugs).

It would be the first time a player I legitimately hate plays for a team I root for...

He'd grow on you. You would eventually come to realize that he's awesome and doesn't deserve a lot of the sh*t he gets and that he gets most of it because he's Steeler and that there's no rational reason whatsoever to hate him.

No, he's a complete thug. I have watched him enough to have a sound opinion of him. He has openly admitted to trying to hurt people.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, While you are probably right, I would rather have Mingo in Oakland. Truthfully, would rather start over at QB. Oh well.

Truthfully, I'd rather have Jordan than Mingo, so I don't know why you'd be unhappy with that. As for QB...meh, you're honestly better off looking in the second (lol) or third round. I wouldn't be too surprised to see Oakland take a chance on Tyler Wilson or Ryan Nassib in the third.

Vikings shopping Percy Harvin. Schefter is confident he gets traded. Seahawks reportedly the favorite.

How would he be wasted in Seattle's offense? Their offense is very similar to the one Minnesota ran when they had Favre. It would be a perfect fit.

My guess is trade + extension.
