"Not saying they're not good, but coughlin, Eli, and the giants in general are so overrated."
There is NO WAY you can say they are overrated. They won TWO superbowls in FIVE years! The Giants do the SAME thing every year...they start off great and then tank the next month and then they find a way to pull it off. That may or may not be the case this year. Coughlin is a HOF coach. Eli is a HOFer...lol at anyone saying he is "overrated."
"Coughlin was a big tiki game away from being fired years ago."
He has been on the hot seat a couple times already and when he has, he went out and won a SB.
"Eli just throws the ball up for grabs about 25% of the time and his receivers make huge plays."
You couldn't be more wrong about this. Eli has made NOBODY receivers look like HOFers...you can't argue otherwise. How has Manningham done this year? What about Smith and Boss last year? He found Cruz.
"And the giants just find a way to sneak into the playoffs and get hot at the right time. Take away those two hot streaks and a couple lucky catches and you've got a .500 team."
It doesn't matter if you win 16 games or 8 games to get into the playoffs. As long as you GET IN, anything can happen. As far as the "hot streaks" and "lucky catches" can't you say that about EVERY team? What about the key Giants injuries and bad calls/non calls?
"And yes, I am a disgruntled Jets fan. lol."
Well that explains everything...
