Wouldn't be heartbroken about losing Flores, but he isn't considered a lower tier prospect.

Fulmer still might, and it would be a crying shame to lose him.

Flores has ZERO future with the Mets.

Fulmer would be tough to lose, but they're getting a better & more developed prospect back for him. so I don't see why anyone would complain.

flores might have zero future with the mets but that doesnt mean give him away as a throw in

he's about to have a break out season in the minors and his value will go up

fulmer and syndegaard had very comparable numbers last season in single a.

reason why syndegaard is more regarded is his height and velocity.

don't sleep on fulmer. they're same age and have similar productivity.

personally i would keep flores at ss and trade tejada or put tejada at second and trade murphy...flores can hit

both are projected for 2015...so by 2015 the mets can have a rotation of wheeler, harvey, niese, syndergaard and fulmer

i know. i'm very excited for 2015. cecchini is also slated for 2015 and even though nimmo is slated for 2014 i would guess its closer to 2015 as well. we also only will have like 30 mill tied up between wright, niese, and ike. that will be a big year for us.

No way the Mets trade Dickey,Thole,and Fulmer for D'Arnaud,Syndergard and take on Bucks(6 million dollars). If that were the case it would basically be Dickey and Thole for D'Arnaud and Buck and his 6 million dollars.

He's not a throw in though.

Let's say Harvey is no longer considered a prospect. Travis & Noah immediately become our 1st & 3rd best prospects.

2nd and 3rd... wheeler still a prospect.

a lot of hope there. the overall success rate of top prospects becoming good MLB players is around 33%. the rate for all prospects is around 3%.

I'm not saying Fulmer isn't good. I'm just saying that Snydergaard is the higher regarded prospect. and if it's "just because of his height & velocity." then that isn't something to ignore exactly.

SS is too important a position to just put someone there despite the fact they're horrible defensively.

not saying ignore it. syndegaard should be a highly regarded prospect. but fulmer is no throw in. i wouldnt be surprised if he was top 100 this year, or if he posted another season like he did in single a, top 50 the year after that.
