The only reason he was even up last year, was the Jays were decimated with injuries. He was rushed from AA to AAA and then to the bigs. By the last month of the season, he was hitting .265, with doubles and triples. His first week he looked lost at the plate, and by the end he was working the count, and looking much more comfortable.
I am glad to hear that they are not discussing trading him. Bad enough we are giving up D'Arnaud.
