eh...would prefer Olt+...if Olt was purely an OFer I may think differently. Isn't he a 3b that just happens to have some experience in the OF? I have a feeling a player like Olt would bust...

Of course I have no basis for that argument, just a feeling. If they threw in Cody Buckel, I'd say that would be a good haul. Maybe we would get creative and then flip Olt for Myers in some way? Aren't the Rangers using Olt as trade bait for Upton though?

Olt has played a grand total of 3 games in the OF in the minors....

i don't see the wisdom of dealing a Cy Young winner for a prospect then playing that prospect out of position.....

Olt made sense if we were thinking of dealing David (or Ike) but not now

Olt is a highly ranked prospect and he can hit and the Rangers and scouts think he can handle the outfield despite not having much experience there.

i know Olt is highly ranked and proposed a trade including him for Dickey as far back as August when i also thought it would be better if we dealt Wright

i'm not going to say i know more than a professional scout but for Dickey we better be darn sure he can run around out there
