Signing Scott Hairston just watch

Don't laugh they almost have to bring that guy back of the OF will be even worse than last year

I'd be happy to see Hairston return, but I don't know how much his value will rise if Ludwick and Ross end up signing in the 7 mil range. I'm guessing at least 4-5 mil, 2+ yrs.

Hairston may have priced himself out of NY (Mets), with his 2012 season.

Kind of like how Dickey may have pitched himself off the Mets. It's sad that there's a penalty for playing well here.

Unlike Ludwick and Ross, Hairston has proven he can hit 20+ playing in Citi.

It'll be interesting to see how much the Mets value Hairston's bat and what they'll do if don't re-sign him.

Why do you think Dickey is being shopped? Do you think that would be happening if the Wilpons opened up their wallets? He's being shopped because the Wilpons won't spend to bring in a legit bat, especially if Dickey is given his raise.

He's being shopped because his value is at an all time high and trading him would be worth more than actual dollars spent on FA.
