I wouldn't bet money on that.

Even if he hits .250 / 15 / 70, that would be miles better and might get him Comeback Player of the Year.

If that happens, then the world has officially gone insane.

Don't think he can sign for a million isn't he getting paid by the Mets? Usually those players sign for the league minimum which is deducted from what the Mets are paying him.

Depends on deferred $$$ deal Bay & Mets worked out. Might get to keep what other team gives him plus Mets payment. No way to know what that contract stipulates.

Contract modified to arrange for deferred $$$. No way to know what agreement says. Bay guaranteed AT LEAST what Mets owe him. Could be MORE if Bay gets to keep what Mariners pay too.
