I stated earlier that Dickey wasnt worth 15 million a year on A two year contract.Im changing my position on that. I still dont believe any pitcher is worth 15 million A year however,A cy young award,20 game winner is surely worth more than 5 million,which is what hes making.His last contract he signed an extremely team friendly contract so for that reason alone,he should get the money.Consider it back pay for his last contract...

That being said,if the Mets trade him,I like Sandys approach. "give me A game changer or no deal" wil meyers if its the royals, d'arnaud if the jays get him,etc..unless we get A future star back,keep and extend him.

if anyones wondering where the change of opinion is coming from..i actually researched and looked at what he signed for last time.it was a steal for the mets.Dickey couldve made more but showed loyalty by signing the extension.Now its time to show that loyalty back.
