My god. Wright is not making much money and he's NOT the root of our problems.

Wright is streaky. Nobody should have expected him to continue his scorched earth policy of the first half. But this is frustrating to the max. One thing he's doing that I can't remember him doing before is getting called out on strikes. He usually swings at a bad pitch. Since the ASB, he's consistently being called out on strikes. When he slumps, it usually lasts for a month or more. I think he's a damned good player, but its not easy to defend him.

Dude, if we were to make a post every time Murphy costs us because of an error, mental mistake, failed DP, lack of range and the fact that he is so bad defensively that he has to be positioned in the outfield, there wouldn't be room on this board for other topics.
