For the most part they know exactly where to hit the ball in that puny park Granderson especially yes he hits some shots that would go out of any park, but he hits a lot of chippys too that go 322 feet and land 2 rows into the stands so do a lot of other Yankees, opposing teams probably get over anxious over swing and fail to get it done the Yankees use that band box to perfection patiently waiting and utilizing the right field 314 feet line lol, lol, lol. I hope other teams realize this and start blasting home runs over chippyville last nights game was a good start. Way to go Sox !!

I hate the yanks but don't tell me you wouldn't love the Mets to have a similar park. Every team has their own unique park, it's a part of what makes baseball great.

I just see this as bashing the Yankees to bash them and I'd hope us Mets fans can be better than that.

No, NO no, Way !! Would I want the Mets to play in a park like YS, in fact I wish they would have left the original dimensions and I mean from 2009. I know the players hemmed and hawed about it so they changed it. YS is to homer friendly, give me a 3-2 4-1 game any time over 9-7, 8-6. I like pitching, defense, speed, timely hitting.

Citi field was totally unfair originally tho. I love pitching as much as the next guy but when you can cream a ball and it doesn't even hit the warning track, there's a problem.

Everyone has to play at someone's home park.. if everyone had the same park, it would be boring...same with the weather effecting chicago games or air effecting Colorado.. you adapt or fail.

No way.. I despise the Yankees but I'm not gonna talk trash about their stadium.. just comes off as bitter we have more then enough ammo against the Yankees then to bring up a stadium everyone has to play in.

You reek of Yankeeism, what makes me sick about that park is watching a 325 pop to the outfield go into the stands for a homer and as for the dimensions of Citi-field in 2009, you wouldnt even hear a whiff of it back in ythe day when they had parks with even bigger dimensions, yes there would be less home runs but when a player jacked one or pulled one it would go, bring back the old dimensions or at least the same dimensions as Shea.

so I'm a yankee fan cause I don't want to talk junk about their stadium? How bout the fact that theyve had a stadium that was home run happy for 40 years? It's not something new.

Lets hate on them for retiring every good yankee player they ever had, for having cheaters on their ball club..

You said it, it's not the old days, where most parks were huge. Citi field is fair now, alot like shea and I love it that way but if it was a band box I wouldn't complain... its not that important to me.

ugh terrible! how dare they. Especially since when the visiting team comes up to bat the walls move further out. Didn't you know they have retracted walls

Yeah, we're going after the Yanks ballpark now? When do we start critiquing their bat boys?

The Yanks built a TEAM that could take advantage of that ballpark. The Mets changed their ballpark to suit ONE player. Sure, maybe a bit for Ike and Bay, but we all know it was primarily to accommodate one guy

Ooops, guess I'm a Yankee fan now. These guys would have been great during the McCarthy era. "He didn't denounce the Soviet union!!! Communist!"

The Yankees can hit homeruns in any ballpark. They made Citifield look like a LL ballpark

You got a tainted fake win the other night, Dewise or whatever his name is dropped the ball, tainted fake win. I am sure you can relate to that, remember the incessant crying about Santanas no hitter, the umps are paid off by the Yankees and everyone knows it, enjoy your fake tainted win.
