Seems to me that the real ACE of this pitching staff turns out to be Buerhle. He has been the stopper and the most consistent. Also, Anibel could have a great record if he got some run support and outside of a couple of bad outings he has been very good too.
JJ is still not what he once was.....and he wasnt so great for very long either.....again we as fans and the media got all excited about his great start last year and started hoping it would be that way for a long time...
It didnt work out that way sadly......I think JJ has a better shot for getting back to form come next year......maybe he can develop another pitch to help make up for some lost velocity on his FB.
Overall the starters are pretty good.......no one is lights out but they definitely are steady for the most part.
If we had some offense we would be doing much better for sure.
Oh well theres always next year.
