Hey guys,

Longtime lifelong White Sox fan who likes to follow some of my favorite ex players and managers. Obviously I am talking about Buehrle and Ozzie. But to my point. I knew you guys were struggling as of late, but what is the biggest issue? The team is now 9 games back, with all these expectations. I am not here to bash this team because I would love to see Miami will the NL pennant. I am simply curious what the teams biggest issues have been. At first glance from far away it appears the pitching is not holding it own, but please correct me if I am wrong.

Go SOX
Go Marlins

P.S. Outside of Frank Thomas, Mark Buehrle is my second favorite player of all time.

Offense is the big problem...some of it is lack of talent [G. Sanchez, Buck] and some is underachieving [Reyez, Ramirez, Morrison]...defense is weak...starting pitching has been solid overall...11th in MLB in ERA..but bullpen is awful..29th in MLB in ERA.

Bell looks washed up...need to DL him and get him to rehab in Jupiter...

Run differential among worst in baseball...based on run differential our record should be 33-46 before today...lucky to be only 5 games out of wild card...probably not good enough to do anything with it.

starting pitching has been inconsistent as of late, but yeah, hitting and bullpen been horrible. it seems like it is always something. they can't get the entire package working. when pitching is good, they get errors or can't hit. when they hit, they give up runs. it is hard to watch. especially last 2 games- 2 games that we would have won in May for whatever reason. Now, we can't win the easy one (Monday) or the hard one (Tuesday).

Bell has been a huge disappointment in my eyes. I think he is overweight and washed up. How many closers in this new era of baseball look like Bell? They should nickname him the "Albino Panda."

Most closers today are young studs with a screw loose. This guy is overrated and I can't wait for Leo or whatever his name is to return. I would rather watch a young cocky risktaker who throws heat than this @ssclown. Oh, and send Buck with him as a tandem, where they should end up (AL).
